"CC-05 methodology of testing of shaped charges perforation ability under atmospheric pressure and environment temperature conditions", developed and approved by Federal services in ecological, technological and atomic supervision has been used in the Russian Federation since 2006 to measure shaped charges efficiency. This methodology assumes to test the DP charge on steel targets and BH charge on aluminum targets.
Another standards for measuring shaped charges and perforating systems efficiency are international standards (API RP43, API RP 19B), developed by American Petrolic Institute (API).
