TOR-200U percussion detonators and TOR-200E electrical detonators are used for detonation pulse initiation and transmission to the detonation chain of hollow-carrier guns during TCP and wireline explosive-perforating works in oil and gas wells.
Specific Features of TOR-200U of TOR-200E Detonators:
- no initiating means in products providing safe handling;
- no connecting wires and threaded connections in product design;
- easy installation in the gun: the detonator is placed in a corresponding socket of the adapter sub with a unified multipurpose setting size and does not require additional fixing;
- make-contact of the cable or wire central core during wireline perforating operations ensures the safety of gun assembly;
- can be transported by all transport means together with other hazardous cargoes compatible with Classification Code 1.4S.

Use of TOR-200U and TOR-200E
Detonators ТОR-200WR are designed to initiate the detonation chain in expendable and non-sealed perforating-explosive equipment for perforating-explosive works in oil and gas wells.
TOR-200WR Specific Features:
- absence of initiating substances in the products provides safe use;
- significantly higher resistance of the bridge (100 Ohm) compared to existing analogues ensures compliance with international safety requirements;
- the design allows to use either devices producing a direct current pulse (PVZ-1700 type) or devices producing a high-frequency alternating current pulse (PVV-A type) for initiation of detonators;
- can be transported by all transport means together with other hazardous cargoes compatible with Classification Code 1.4S.
