Hydromechanical firing heads ISKRA-GM are designed to initiate detonation chain of the guns lowered into oil and gas wells on tubing or drill-pipes.
The firing heads are used in vertical, directional and horizontal wells.
In horizontal and directional wells with inclination angle more than 45 degree the firing head is initiated by the rubber ball dropped into the tubing cavity and pushed through under pressure. In vertical and directional wells with inclination angle not more than 45 degree the firing head is initiated by the drop bar.
Specific Features
- Easy and reliable assembly;
- Safe operation: required hydrostatic pressure for initiation is not less than 3 MPa;
- Versatility: can be used in any well type – vertical, directional and horizontal;
- Not used in highly absorbing wells with hydrostatic pressure below minimum.
