Universal Protective Sub PZU
Universal protective sub PZU is designed to initiate guns running into oil and gas wells on wireline with the help of electrical detonators TOR-200E PZU is used in vertical, directional and horizontal wells with liquid or gas medium.
Specific feature of the sub is that electrical circuit inside the sub is closed with the TOR-200E detonator contact installed in the sub of the gun only while being lowered into a well with liquid medium at the depth not less than 70 m below the liquid level (or into a dry well with gas medium and wellhead pressure not less than 6 atm), thereby preventing unauthorized activation of the gun at the wellhead.
