VEU-200 ignitor is designed to ignite powder and gas-generating charges for industrial purposes in hermetically-sealed blasting explosive-perforating equipment during well perforating and blasting operations.
VEU-200 ignitor features
- universal version 2 in 1 - in received state, the ignitor has brought out electrical wires (intended for VP-type packers), which can be removed to turn the VEU-200 into a wireless version, if necessary, which allows it to be used in conjunction with packer charges for landing nipples;
- design provides for the use of both devices that emit a DC pulse (PULS device) and devices that emit a high-frequency AC pulse (PVV-A type and also a PULS device) for initiating detonators;
- significantly higher bridge resistance (100 ohms) in comparison with existing analogues ensures compliance with international safety requirements;
- resistance to high humidity conditions - hermetically-sealed design prevents liquid from getting inside the ignitor;
- magnitude of the safe current and the possibility of initiating a DC pulse allows the use of VEU-200 as part of modern Plug&Perf feedback arrangements, which will allow to substitute existing ignitors of foreign production.
- there are no explosives in the construction - only igniting composition;
- possibility of combined transportation by all means of transport with other hazardous goods compatible with 1.4S classification code.
