Jet tubing cutters of TK-PP series are designed for quick and effective cutting of tubings in wells. Loaded tubing cutter runs in well to a required interval on wireline. The tubing cutter is actuated by electric pulse applied to the blasting cartridge installed inside which in turn transmits detonation via the firing circuit to the annular shaped charge of transverse planar action. When the shaped charge is activated, a flat annular jet is formed providing a high-quality and clean cut along the entire circumference of the tubing. To ensure maximum performance, the tubing cutters are equipped with special centralizers and weights.
