ISKRA hydraulic firing heads are used to iniate detonaon chain of TCP or coil-tubing perforang guns in oil and gas wells. They can be used in vercal, direconal and horizontal wells. The head is iniated aer sufficient hydrostac pressure on the head piston is reached. Head iniaon pressure is controlled by number of shear pins prevenng accidental actuaon of the firing head by mechanical parts.
- ISKRA 50, ISKRA 73 (U*), ISKRA 85 (U*) are "circulated" heads with circulaon holes at the top body to open interconnecon between casing-tubing annulus and the tubing aer perforaon. This opon does not require to pull out the tubing for well compleon aer explosive-perforang operaons
- ISKRA 50-01, ISKRA 73-01, ISKRA 85-01 are "non-circulated" heads without circulaon holes at the top body. Aer perforang-explosive works it is required to pull out the tubing with the used perforang gun and head.
* ISKRA-U is a firing head for TOR-200U percussion detonator. Protected by the patent №166694 RF.
Specific Features:
- Can be used in contaminated and unprepared wells. No need to use iniang balls in horizontal wells.
- Can be used as a backup head.
- Can be actuated by pressure delivered through casing annulus.
