Permissible insensitive blasting cartridges PVPD-N and PVPD-N-165 are used to initiate detonating cord in hollow-carrier perforating guns in oil and gas wells. The cartridges are insensitive to household and portable sources of direct current and industrial frequency current and to electrostatic charges.
